Privacy Policy
PromptArt ("the app") is a mobile library of ready-to-use AI image prompts, operated by BetterLifeStudio. This document describes how we handle information when you use the app. There is no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, photos, contacts, or GPS, and we do not sell your data. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to the PromptArt Terms of Use.
PromptArt is not an AI image generator. The app never creates, edits, or saves pictures. "Generate" only unlocks the hidden prompt string. The picture is made in the AI image tool you already use.
1. App permissions and why we need them
The app may request certain permissions so features work as intended:
• Internet and network state — To load prompts, preview images, categories, Remote Config, and subscription status, and to check if you are online.
• Notifications (optional) — For app-related messages you have allowed. You can turn these off in your device settings.
• Billing — Used by Google Play or the App Store for PromptArt Premium. We never see your card.
• Advertising ID (Android) / App Tracking Transparency (iOS) — Ads and measurement if you are not Premium.
No camera, gallery, microphone, or contacts permission. Declining a permission can turn off that feature; it does not wipe data we already hold.
2. What data we collect and why
Device registration: There is no username. On first launch with internet, the app sends an installation id, phone make / model / OS, app version, and a city–region–country from your IP (not GPS). The server returns an access token stored in the phone's secure storage. Premium then works without you typing anything.
General location: City, region, and country only, from IP at setup. No GPS and no live tracking.
Prompts and app content: Text, previews, and categories live on our servers and show in the app. You can reveal, copy, favorite, and share. PromptArt does not generate images.
Using prompts outside the app: After you copy, you may paste into any AI image tool you choose. We do not send that paste anywhere. That tool's privacy rules apply there.
Favorites: Kept on your device. We do not receive them.
Reports: If you use the flag on a prompt or Settings → Report a Problem, you pick a reason and may add a short note. That goes to Firebase Analytics so we can review it. Optional.
Feedback: If you tap Send Feedback in Settings, your device email app opens. We only receive what you choose to send, plus your From address.
Share: If you share a prompt using your device share menu, the app does not read or store what you send through other apps.
Push notifications: If you allow them, we store the FCM token for this install so we can message you and stop when you turn permission off. Some reminders are prepared on your device itself; nothing about them is sent to us.
Advertising: If you are not Premium, Google AdMob may use your advertising ID, IP, device signals, and ad taps. https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Where the law requires it, a consent form (UMP) runs before personalised ads. On iOS we also ask ATT. Settings → Privacy options re-opens the form when Google still requires it. Premium sees no ads.
Rewarded ads: Some prompts offer an optional video before the text is revealed. You choose each time.
Subscriptions: If you subscribe to PromptArt Premium, Play or the App Store takes payment. RevenueCat and our API get the installation id and entitlement data so we can grant, check, and restore Premium. Expiry is cached on the device for a cold start. No card numbers.
Unlock Premium: Settings may show Unlock Premium when we turn that row on. If you enter a code, it is checked on our API. A yes is stored only on this phone as a local Premium flag (not a store purchase).
Usage and crashes: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics record screens, feature events (including ad revenue), and crash logs, keyed to the installation id. We read this in bulk, not to profile you.
On the device only (gone if you uninstall): onboarding done, paywall / rate-us / ad timing, favorites, saved prompt content, cached Premium expiry, and the review-unlock flag.
Legal pages: Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Request Data Deletion open in the in-app browser from URLs in Remote Config.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use in-app activity for unrelated third-party marketing.
What we do not collect: no name, phone, or address (unless you email us). No photos, files, camera, or microphone. No contacts or SMS. No GPS. No card or bank details. No browsing history from other apps.
3. How we use your information
We use the data described above to run the prompt library, keep Favorites and Premium, process store purchases, show ads you consented to, send notifications you allowed, review reports, fix crashes, stop abuse, and meet the law.
4. Content standards and your responsibility
PromptArt provides creative prompt text and reference visuals for inspiration. We do not guarantee that every prompt is accurate, original, or suitable for every audience or platform.
The app includes a reporting option so you can flag content you believe violates our policies. Reported items are reviewed and may be removed.
You are responsible for how you use copied prompts in external AI tools. Do not use PromptArt to create, copy, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Third-party services and their privacy policies
The app uses the following third-party services. Each may collect and process data as described in its own privacy policy:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — In-app advertising.
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Firebase (Google) — Analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and configuration.
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Play / Apple App Store — In-app purchases and subscriptions.
https://policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat — Subscription and entitlement management.
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
IP lookup (ipinfo.io) — City / region / country at first launch.
AI Tools and the in-app browser can open sites we do not run. Their rules apply there.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information sent between your device and our systems. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
7. How long we keep data
• Installation record (device id, hardware, IP area) — While you use the app, then up to 24 months after last activity.
• Subscription rows — For the life of the plan, then as needed for refunds, fraud, or tax.
• Reports — Until we finish review and keep a short outcome note.
• Analytics — Up to 14 months; crash logs about 90 days (Firebase defaults).
• Ad-related data — Subject to AdMob retention. You can reset your advertising ID in device settings.
• On-device token and flags — Until you uninstall or clear app data.
8. Your choices and rights
You can un-favorite prompts, change or revoke app permissions in your device settings, turn off notifications in system settings, open Settings → Privacy options (when shown), reset your advertising ID, cancel Premium in Play or Apple ID, and uninstall the app.
To request a copy of what we hold, or a wipe, open Settings → Request Data Deletion, or email studiobetterlife69@gmail.com with the subject PromptArt data deletion. Add phone model, the version in Settings, and roughly when you installed. We reply to legitimate requests within 30 days. AdMob data is controlled in Google's ads settings, not by us.
9. Age of use and children
PromptArt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. When we share data
We do not sell personal data. We may share information only with advertising partners for ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention; with service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat, Play) that help us operate the app; or when required by law, a safety issue, or our Terms of Use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
